Fresno Police and the Department of Justice are working together to solve the city’s first homicide of 2016.
They have released video and photos of the suspect who is wanted for the murder of convenience store clerk Gurcharan Singh Gill, who was stabbed to death on January 1st.
68 year old Gill (seen above) was murdered inside the Shields Express Mart on west Shields just east of West Avenue.
Officers arrived around 3:30pm, and found Gill – who worked as a clerk there, already dead.
Enhanced video and photos show a suspect that Chief Jerry Dyer describes as a white male, in his 20s, about 5’6″ – 5’7″ tall, with a thin build (seen in the photos below).
The Punjab Community is offering part of the $10,000 reward – for any tips for Gurcharan Singh Gill’s killer.
