Arsenal Of Weapons, Drugs, Bomb Ingredients Seized In Central Fresno

An arsenal of weapons, drugs and bomb ingredients are seized in a Central Fresno home.

Explosions were heard and that caused the search Wednesday, December 23rd.

Fresno Police officers responded to the 100 block of East Andrews Avenue and spoke to neighbors who identified a house on the block by Palm and Shields.

Homeowner Alan Robertson admitting he had been setting off bombs for months in the night.

The 59 year-old told officers where to find the explosive devices, and inside a dresser in the house, they located a homemade device along with a sawed off shotgun.

The Violent Crime Impact Team and Fresno Police Explosive Ordinance Disposal Team responded.

Officers found marijuana, cocaine, and meth, along with a loaded revolver, a rifle, shotgun, a silencer, an uzi pistol and carbine, and inside the garage, ingredients for a bombs, fuses, powders, chemicals, and fireworks.

Robertson was booked into Fresno County Jail for firearms and drug charges, possession of destructive devices, and bomb making components.

All of the explosives were seized.
