FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Thanks to several back-to-back storms in the Sierra, the California snowpack is now higher than average for this time of the year.

The Department of Water Resources says it’s something the Golden State hasn’t seen, for a good two years.

The snowpack, typically, provides California with one-third of its water supply.

However, as great as the news is, the 4-drought is far from over.
