FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Average U.S. fuel prices have fallen below $2 a gallon for the first time since March of 2009.

However, that’s not the case here in California.

According to AAA, we’re averaging $2.72 a gallon in the Golden State, with Fresno at about $2.55. That could change, come refinery maintenance season.
