THE US Attorney’s office is extraditing an American Citizen South of the Border to stand trial for murder.

On December 15th, Jesús Flores Buenrostro was ordered to be extradited to Mexico where he is wanted to stand trial for the alleged killing of a man in Michoacán.

Witness say Buenrostro and his companions went to a square in the town where a fight had broken out in the evening.

When they arrived, they encountered a group of men.

Buenrostro loaded a firearm and fired two shots at the men.

The victim was struck twice and died of his wounds.

Buenrostro fled to the US, but US Attorney Benjamin Wagner said both countries have a mutual interest in ensuring that neither country is a safe haven for those fleeing justice in the other.
