(KMJ) – Fresno Police say they now know the identity of a crook who has hit at least three local businesses in the last 10 days while wearing pajamas.
Because of that clothing choice, Officers are now referring to him as the “Pajama Bandit.”
Thanks to posts on Facebook, reports by the media and callers to Crime Stoppers, the Pajama Bandit has now been identified by Fresno Police as 39-year old Gabriel Gutierrez.
Police say last Sunday, Gutierrez hit the Surf Thru Car Wash near the corner of First and Ashlan Avenue.
He was wearing grey pajama bottoms, tennis shoes, and a black Raiders jacket.
Police say Gutierrez is the same guy caught on camera trying to break into the Century 21 Real Estate office on Shaw Avenue and the Maple Grove Apartments in southeast Fresno last week.
If you know where Gabriel Gutierrez is right now call Fresno Police at (559) 621-7000.
You can also remain anonymous and call Crime Stoppers at 498-STOP (7867) where you can receive up to a $1000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
