FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Being a grump might annoy those around you, but it’s not likely to shorten your life, according to a new study funded by the UK Medical Research Council.
Scientists say they found no link between unhappiness and mortality.
Previous studies suggested that being happy can protect against serious health problems. However, experts now say the studies were flawed, because they failed to consider that poor health itself can cause unhappiness, not the other way around.
