FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The younger generation is uninterested and disengaged from the 2016 presidential election.

Less than half of those responding to a new Harvard survey say they’re keeping up with politics.

Republicans are losing ground among the young; 56% of those between 18 to 29 prefer a Democrat.

For young backers of both Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders, the American Dream seems to be dead. 61% of Trump supporters and 56% of Sanders supporters agree.
