FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — 690 breaches, and more than 176 million records have been accessed by criminals in 2015, according to the non-profit Identity Theft Resource Center.

Corporate America and government are taking more aggressive measures to bolster cyber security. However, the battle is far from over.

According to WalletHub, California is among biggest targets for cyber crooks in the nation. Only Florida, Nevada, and District of Columbia are more endangered.
