A Hanford man is in custody after threatening to slit a woman’s throat over an Instagram post.
Police there say it happened, just after 10:00 on December 1st, 2015.
Officers from the Hanford Police Department responded to an address in the city to check the welfare of a female –after a call came in that 22 year old Luis Herrera, was threatening to slit her throat.
He was reportedly angry about an Instagram post.
Herrera left the residence, threatening to kill himself.
He was located by officers a short time later, and was booked into the Kings County Jail for criminal threats and held in lieu of $50,000 dollars bail.
