A memorial fund has been set up in honor of student Nohemi Gonzalez.
The 23 year-old was among the casualties of the Paris terrorist attack, Friday the 13th.
She was a design student at Fresno State’s sister campus CSU Long Beach.
Organizers are asking for contributions for Nohemi’s family to help ease the burden of the funeral costs and or make it possible to do something special in her name.
Their goal is $25,000, so far they have raised close to $19,000.
The Nohemi Gonzalez Memorial Fund is on GoFundMe.: http://www.donationto.com/The-Nohemi-Gonzalez-Memorial-Fund
Nohemi Gonzalez was a sweet, generous and upbeat soul that the world has lost due to the terrorist attacks in Paris. As a friend and a classmate I feel a hole in my heart from this tragedy, but I cannot even imagine the pain that her family must be experiencing from these devastating events. Beyond our prayers and sympathetic words my family would like to try and help Nohemi’s loved ones in this time of unimaginable sadness.
Please contribute to this fund for Nohemi’s family to help ease the burden of the funeral costs and or make it possible to do something special in her name. We all feel completely helpless, as we cannot take away the pain that losing a child brings, but we can help with the financial burden and help her memory live on.
