A Warning: Marijuana ‘wax,’ or ‘dab,’ on the rise.
It’s called “wax” because of the way it looks, and is also known as “dab” or “budder.”
The “wax” is highly concentrated THC, the ingredient in marijuana that gets you high, solidified to be smoked and vaped.
It’s biggest draw is that it’s very hard to detect.
Even though it’s stronger than marijuana in its natural form, it doesn’t smell as much, and it’s easier to carry in public.
The drug’s ability to hide in plain sight is a concern, as is the ability to bring It into work situations.
Not knowing what’s in it or who you bought it from can be a problem, too.
There’s a lot of side effects including hallucinations, paranoia, and psychosis.
