FRESNO (KMJ) — Do you want the life of an astronaut? Well NASA is recruiting.
The space agency are accepting applications for the next class of explorers for future missions, including those to mars.
“Do you think you have what it takes to join NASA’s next astronaut class?”, asks NASA administrator Charles Bolden. “Then I want you to apply for NASA’s astronaut program”.
“This next group of American space explorers will inspire the Mars generation to reach for new heights, and help us realize the goal of putting boot prints on the Red Planet.”
They’re seeking pilots, engineers ,scientists, and doctors.
There are less than 50 astronauts in the current active pool, and more will be needed to crew future missions.
