Students at UC Merced held a candlelight vigil for four people stabbed and wounded by a freshman this week.
The students organized the “I stand with UC Merced” vigil to show their support of the victims.
On Wednesday morning, 18-year-old Faisal Mohammad of Santa Clara, California, burst into a classroom with a hunting knife – stabbing four people there and as he fled the building – he was shot dead by campus police,
It was revenge after being kicked out of a study group..
The four victims are expected to survive.
