HILL VALLEY (KMJ) — Wednesday October 21st 2015 is the day Doc Brown and Marty McFly travel to in Back To The Future Part 2.
“We’re descending toward Hill Valley, California. On Wednesday October 21st 2015”, says Doc Brown moment after picking up both Marty and Jennifer in Hill Valley 1985.
Well that’s the first part they got wrong. Doc says descending because in the movie the car itself is flying. Unfortunately flying cars are still out of our reach.
But listen carefully to that hum that accompanies every vehicle driving around Hill Valley’s Downtown area. It does sound pretty similar to the number of electric vehicles finding new popularity.
Hover-boards? Unfortunately not yet despite some inroads by various manufacturers. License plates that look like barcodes are somewhat further away.
But drones that take pictures at crime scenes – yes as well as flatscreen TVs. So some right – some wrong – just don’t mention the Cubs.
