(KMJ) – Fresno County Fire Fighters warned of possible toxic fumes in the skies over Dos Palos as a large fire burned at the Pacific Coast Recycling Center.
The massive blaze was first reported around 5:30 Tuesday afternoon at its location on Almond Street.
Fire crews say flames shot up to 20-feet in the air as about 150 tons of recyclable materials burned.
The recycling center recently closed and owners were in the process of moving out.
The fire was contained just after 9 p.m. and its cause remains under investigation.
