(KMJ) It began with an idea at Kerman High School. Students there used the movies of Oscar winner Tom Hanks as the theme for this year’s homecoming.
It then evolved into a social media campaign to get the actor to serve as grand marshal for the Homecoming parade. And, it worked. Sort of.
Thanks to the Twitter handle @TomHanks2KermanHC, the actor took notice. Due to his filming schedule, he could not deliver a message in person. But , he did the next best thing.
