FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The State of California has outlawed the use of smokeless tobacco, at Major League Baseball games.
The restriction will prevent California players from chewing and spitting in home games.
The Golden State is the first in the nation to pass such a law.
It takes effect in 2017, and violations carry a $250 penalty.
