FRESNO (KMJ) — A Fresno school which will prepare its students for the technological world has officially been dedicated.
The Phillip J. Patiño school of entrepreneurship aims to get as many of its alumnus and alumnae into business.
It’s the first of its kind in the United States, and aims to not only encourage the students in business but also how to experience failure and learn from it.
“You are sitting in a moment where there is absolutely no inferiority to your experience, and being sort of the guide of your own life, the guide of your own existence”, says Jake Soberal, CEO of Fresno tech company Bitwise Industries.
“There isn’t anybody else on the planet that has the opportunity you have right now”.
The curriculum will include how to develop programs, code, and how to build websites.
