FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Private California employers created 35,100 jobs in September, according to the latest ADP report.

Almost all of the growth was seen in the service sector, with only about 1,000 jobs involving production.

Manufacturing saw a loss of 2,700 jobs, while construction was up by about 3,700.

Nationwide, September private sector net job growth was about 200,000.
