Tulare County Sheriff’s Deputies have nabbed a man — in the death of a Porterville couple in their 80s.
On Sunday, the Tulare County Sheriff responded to a home in the 14400 block of Road 284, in Porterville to check on the welfare of an elderly couple.
The two were found dead in the home with traumatic injuries.
The Tulare County Violent Crimes Detective Unit is investigation the murder.
57-year-old Kenneth Charles Smith has been described as a ‘person of interest,’ and was taken into custody just before 10:00 this morning for questioning.
