FRESNO (KMJ) — Two are dead and another is in custody after shooting in Fresno.
Officers were close by when they heard the shots fired on the intersection of San Pablo and Barstow at around 11.45am Thursday morning.
Fresno Police Lieutenant Joe Gomez says they responded to find two men, both who appear to be in their 20s, dead on the ground in front of an apartment there.
“They received information that somebody involved, possibly a shooter, was in one of the apartments where the deceased males were laying. So the officers surrounded the apartment and there was a male in there, we have him detained”.
There was also a handgun discovered close by, and a passer by was injured. It’s currently unknown what led to the shooting taking place.
