A mistrial has been declared in the case of a former California gubernatorial candidate accused of shooting and wounding his neighbor in Fresco County last year … jurors were deadlocked yesterday and couldn’t convict Tye Glenn Champ on charges of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon. Champ testified that he shot John Price after Price attacked him with a knife.
