(KMJ) Two women were killed in a crash Monday morning in Kern County.
The victims were in an SUV which collided with a dump truck around 6am on Highway 46 near McFarland.
The CHP says the women were on their way to work in the fields when, for an unknown reason, the SUV made a U-turn in front of the truck, triggering the deadly collision.
Five others were injured and were sent to area hospitals.
