The funeral service for Dr. Charlie Waters, scheduled for Saturday, September 19th, at 10 a.m., has been moved to People’s Church. It is located at 7172 North Cedar Avenue at Herndon Avenue.
A reception will immediately follow the service.
And, the Charlie Waters Memorial Fund has now been created. Donors can go to any Bank of the West branch to make a contribution. Donations made in Waters’ name will go to veterans programs that he supported such as the Fresno Veterans Home and the Fresno Veterans Day Parade.
Doctor Waters, a Korean War combat veteran, passed away earlier this month at age 82.
