It’s marijuana harvest season…
Two homes in Southeast Fresno were raided at 10:00am, Tuesday morning for growing pot illegally.
Southeast Fresno police had search warrants for a house at 4910 East Olive – right across the street from Ewing Elementary School.
Fresno Police Sergeant Mark Hudson says that was concerning to have it so close to a school – and they wanted to get it out of the area, away from children.
Kids played across the street as the City of Fresno dumpster rolled up to cart off 200 pot plants from the two homes with an estimated street value of $120,000.
Police are looking for Rob Songlin, a 50-year old Asian man they believe was the grower at the house.
They say the home had an elaborate irrigation system, and time schedules.
A woman at the other house was let off with a warning.
She had medical marijuana cards but it’s illegal to grow pot in Fresno.
