FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — More than a third of California voters now say the drought is having a major impact on them and their families, according to a new USC Dornsife/LA Times poll.
Overall, 92% of voters call the shortage of water a “crisis or major problem.”
Pollsters say last year Californians believed the drought was a problem for lawmakers to handle.
However, this year, it’s a daily challenge.
Voters are also believe that El Nino will bring some much-needed relief, although forecasters say there’s no guarantee.
