Gov. Brown Vetoes Drone Regulations

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Governor Jerry Brown has vetoed legislation, which called for prohibiting flying a drone less than 350 feet above private property, without the owner’s permission.

Proponents said it would protect privacy.

However, Brown says while drone technology certainly raises issues which need to be examined, the proposed regulations could have exposed the occasional hobbyists and commercial users, to burdensome litigation.
