FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Monthly job cuts fell to about 41,000 last month, down from more than 105,000 layoffs in July.
But, according to a report by Challenger, Gray and Christmas, that’s still nearly 3% higher than the figure from last August.
Employers have announced more than 434,000 jobs cuts in 2015, up 31% compared to the first 8 months of 2014.
