(KMJ) 62 year old Miyuki Harwood has been found alive east of Courtright Reservoir.
The hiker had been missing for 9 days before she was airlifted to safety Saturday morning.
Rescue teams say she did suffer injuries, but did not give any further detail.
Smoke from the Rough Fire, burning nearby, had hampered rescue operations.
Harwood, from Orangevale, had been missing since Aug. 20 in the Sierra National Forest.
