Homecoming is the event of the year at Kerman High School. And this year students want Hollywood heavyweight Tom Hanks to lead the homecoming parade.
The school’s big event will do Tom Hanks movies as its theme. But, in an effort to go one step farther, students have start a social media campaign to try to get Tom Hanks to be the marshal for the Kerman homecoming parade.
Now signs have been put up all over campus asking everyone to Tweet Hanks with the hashtag: #tomhanks2kermanHC
Students and teachers do admit it’s a long shot but they do have a Plan B. They hope the actor send a 30 second selfie video from his cellphone acknowledging Kerman High School.
Kerman’s Homecoming is October 9th against Chowchilla.
