FRESNO (KMJ) – On Friday, August 14th, at about 7 p.m., Fresno Police say the victim of this theft parked her white Toyota Forerunner next to the CVS pharmacy located at 5995 E. Kings Canyon. When she about 5 minutes later, she found her vehicle had been burglarized.
The victim’s purse, which was left inside the vehicle, was stolen after the suspect broke out the left rear driver’s side window.
The break-in was captured on surveillance video. Officer describe the suspect as a Hispanic or white male adult with dark colored hair and a ponytail. He drove a silver 4 door pickup and parked next to the victim’s vehicle prior to the break-in.
Anyone with information on the identity of this suspect is asked to call Detective John Mendes at 621-6311, or Crime Stoppers at 498-STOP (7867) where you can remain anonymous and receive up to a $1000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
