FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The pro-life Center for Medical Progress had petitioned a judge to lift an order, which prevented publicizing the secretly recorded encounters, with a California company that provides fetal tissues for research.

Judge Joanne O’Donnell issued the temporary order last month, but indicated that the company, StemExpress, likely wouldn’t prevail.

The case was filed when the center released videos of Planned Parenthood officials, discussing providing aborted fetal organs.

StemExpress, who has cut ties with Planned Parenthood, claims the videos were made illegally.

But, O’Donnell tentatively ruled Friday, that free speech rights mean the footage of the encounters, should be released.
