The Final Leg team with the Special Olympics 2015 World Games brought the “Flame of Hope” torch through Fresno arriving at City Hall before continuing on to Visalia.

It was a spectacle to be seen as patrol cars lined up, a firetruck ladder bridged the street and a huge crowd gathered along the curb outside city hall to welcome athletes and law enforcement members from around the world on a warm Fresno day.

KMJ spoke to participants from Illinois and Virgina and as far as Australia and Italy.

The ‘Flame of Hope’ torch passes through 119 cities chosen for the honor before it arrives in Los Angeles by Saturday, July 25th.
