MANTECA, Calif. (AP) — Investigators are searching for a gunman after a man drove himself to the Manteca Police department after being hit by a shotgun blast.
The Stockton Record reports that the man arrived at the station Wednesday evening after taking a gunshot wound to the left cheek.
Sgt. Gregg Beall says the victim told officers he was driving when someone shot him. The victim was transported from the police department to a hospital by ambulance for his non-life-threatening wound.
Beall says investigators have not yet determined a motive for the shooting. The obtained surveillance footage of a gunman in a mid-2000 Chevy Impala.
