Gregory Bentley, who represents Misty Holt-Singh’s family, told the Stockton Record Tuesday (http://bit.ly/1M9E1jK ) he will file a lawsuit against the City of Stockton in the next two weeks.
The 41-year-old wife and mother of two was withdrawing money from a Bank of the West branch in north Stockton on July 16, 2014, when she and two bank employees were taken hostage by heavily armed bank robbers. Holt-Singh and two gunmen were killed when police opened fire on the getaway vehicle.
Bentley says terms of the agreement are confidential.
