FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The University of Southern California is seeking a restraining order, in an effort to prevent UC San Diego from hacking into its computers.

It stems from a controversy over Alzheimer’s disease research, in which scientist Paul Aisen and eight colleagues are being sued by UC San Diego, who alleges they took the $100 million dollar study to a new Alzheimer’s institute at USC.

UC San Diego accuses USC of committing multiple illegal acts, which the university is denying.

Meanwhile, USC alleges that UC San Diego hacked into an Amazon account, to where the project has been moved. However, those allegations are also being denied.
