Clint Olivier Announces Assembly Bid

Republican Clint Olivier chose Sam’s Deli as the site to announce his bid for the 31st Assembly District for the seat soon to be vacated by Henry T. Perea.

Olivier says he will fight for small businesses such as Sam’s to be represented in the state capital.

“I’ve worked to clean up inner city neighborhoods like this one and see that kids in Southeast Fresno have a safe and clean place to play. – now it’s time to take that fight to Sacramento” – Clint Olivier

Valley farming and water issues matter high on his platform.

While his district – the 2nd poorest in the state skews over forty percent Democratic, he says candidates will vote for the issue.

“I think that Democrats in the Valley have proven that they vote the candidate and they vote the issue and not the party.” – Clint Olivier

Olivier will be going up against Doctor Joaquin Arambula – who announced his intention to run about a month ago..and welcomed Clint to the race.
