(KMJ) A man driving a forklift in Central California was uninjured after quickly jumping off the farm equipment that stalled on the railroad as a train approached.
The Hanford Sentinel reports Tuesday that Kings County Fire Department Battalion Chief Rick Smith says there were 69 people on the Amtrak train, including four crew members. No one was seriously injured.
Smith says one person complained of unspecified minor injuries, but refused medical treatment.
Smith says a man was reportedly driving the forklift when it stalled on the rail crossing. As soon as the driver saw the train approaching, Smith says the driver got off the forklift.
The train was delayed for more than an hour.
