Fresno’s Police Chief Jerry Dyer is predicting new beginnings for the Manchester Center area with more police patrols coming in to fight violent crime.
“And I also believe it going to be somewhat of a renaissance for the entire Manchester Center area.” – Police Chief Jerry Dyer.
Chief Dyer says about 50 police officers will move into Manchester Center in the coming months.
“We anticipate over the next few months relocating our violent crime impact team into Manchester Center. We’re finalizing those details. We’re confident that once we have those officers stationed at that location, we’ll see some significant reductions in crime in and around that area.” – Fresno’s Police Chief Jerry Dyer.
Chief Dyer says with the new budget he’ll also be dedicating officers in the Dakota area by Blackstone.
The will open around mid to late summer to crack down on burglaries, robberies, gangs and violent crime.
