FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — More than a quarter of a billion visitors came to the Golden State in 2014, according to non-profit Visit California organization.
Total travel-related spending exceeded $117 billion.
53 counties experienced an increase in direct travel spending, including nearly $1.4 billion here in Fresno.
Unsurprisingly, Los Angeles and San Francisco saw the largest shares of tourism dollars.
