A Fresno man who fled to Nevada has been returned to the Valley to face murder charges.
The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office believes 59-year-old Leuth Sengsongkham is the prime suspect in a perceived love triangle that motivated him to kill his wife and her male friend on April 18th.
Their bodies were found in a dirt field located in the 7400 block of South Chestnut Avenue around 7:30 in the morning. The preliminary investigation shows they were shot earlier that morning while working in the field.
Homicide detectives identified Sengsongkham as a possible suspect and notified law enforcement to be on the lookout for his 2010 Toyota Camry. A short time after that notice was issued, the police department in Henderson, NV called Fresno detectives and said Sengsongkham had turned himself into their office and was in police custody.
Sengsongkham was returned to Fresno today (May 6th) and has been charged with two counts of murder.
