Gas Prices Going Back Up Again

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — If you’ve taken a trip to the gas station this past week, you’ve likely seen a major spike in prices at the pump.

Fuel has shot up by more than 33 cents a gallon here in Fresno, with other areas seeing jumps of more than 40 cents.

AAA says this is the largest seasonal increase we’ve experienced in the past 3 years.

Prices are up nationwide, but the problem is worse here in California, as oil companies claim to be making up for shortfalls, and we’re paying a premium for a special blend.
