FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — A Sacramento Superior Court judge has issued a tentative ruling, demanding that the calendars, appointment books, and meeting schedules of former Calif. Senators Leland Yee and Ron Calderon be released.

The two Democrats were indicted back in 2014, on charges of accepting bribes in return for favors.

The judge says the public interest in the release outweighs any reason to keep them private, including security concerns.

Calderon and Yee have both denied wrongdoing.
