Truck drivers who haul goods from the nation’s busiest ports in San Pedro & Long Beach are walking off the job in a dispute over their wages and employee status. The strike at the ports comes after a weekend vote from the Teamsters. It’s not clear how many truckers will walk off the job, but they aren’t expected to shut down all port business.
