FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — There's been another twist in the civil trial of a fatal Greyhound bus crash.
26-year-old Brandon McCullough testified on Thursday, that he saw Stephanie Cardoba driving the SUV in the wreck. Cardoba was one of three women in the vehicle to die.
But the CHP has claimed that Sylvia Garay, who was drunk, was the one driving, not Cordoba.
McCullough alleges that when he challenged the CHP, they threatened to charge him with manslaughter, if he said the driver was anyone other than Garay.
The families of Garay, Cardoba, and a third women, are suing Greyhound for negligence, claiming the bus driver was speeding.
