FRESNO (KMJ) — Are you a good singer? Could you sing in front of a crowd? Do you know the words to the national anthem?
If you answered yes to all three – then we've got the gig for you.
Auditions are set to be held for people to perform "The Star Spangled Banner" at Chukchansi Park.
Officials there want someone to perform during the 2015 baseball season – it'll be the first under new parent team the Houston Astros.
"So the auditions are completely open", says The Fresno Grizzlies' Ryan Young. So you just come in between the hours of 11am and 2pm. The first one's going to be at Sierra Vista Mall on Saturday February 28th and then the second open audition is going to be down in Hanford Mall on Saturday March 7th".
“We’re really looking forward to seeing the creativity of performances during auditions. We want to recruit the most talented and diverse set of National Anthem performers the Valley has to offer".
