~Fresno State's President Joseph Castro held a press conference on Wednesday (2/11/2015) to express the University's condolences on the death of beloved Coach Jerry Tarkanian.

Associate Vice President Debbie Astone was on hand along with Fundraiser Rob Saroyan both commenting on how instrumental Coach Tark was to the building of the Savemart Center.

Fresno State Coach Rodney Terry spoke of how much the University loved Coach Tark and how much the basketball coach loved Fresno.
President Castro announced flags will be flown at half mast on the day of Coach Tarkanian's memorial, and there will be moment of silence and tribute at upcoming Fresno State games.
The Dogs will honor Coach Tark at this Saturday's game — with an empty chair and a white towel.
The players will also add "Tark" patches to their jerseys.
