FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — 24 employees were hospitalized, due to an ammonia leak at a Merced County strawberry plant, near Livingston.
The leak occurred around 8:00 Thursday morning, on Santa Fe Drive.
475 workers had to be evacuated.
Fortunately, no one had skin contact with the ammonia.
