FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The FCC is proposing controversial changes, which would treat the internet as a utility.

Chairman Thomas Wheeler is calling for preventing service providers from selling “express lanes,” that give priority to certain content providers.

But broadband suppliers are already up in arms, calling the proposal “unnecessary and counterproductive.”
